Poor quality image to mirror the poor quality nail art. I was really excited to use this Sephora by O.P.I nail design pen but I’m really disappointed with it :( Luckily I only spent $4 because I found it at Marshall’s, they usually run around $9. The tip is plastic and I had a hard time getting a constant flow of polish, which really ruined my attempt at a fluid design. I might give it another try but as of right now, I’m not too thrilled :(

Magnetic nail polish! Definitely takes some getting used to. My thumbs didn’t get a thick enough coat and my left hand is only magnetized on half of each nail but I love the end result! Next time I know to put thicker coats and even out the magnet!

Sad excuse for an Easter manicure, I know but I had a little mishap and had to trim my nails way down. These are Sally Hansen salon effects and some of them are upside down because I used one strip for more than one nail :P

Love notes! The ring finger is supposed to be notebook paper with a lip print :) I saw this design on an entry for a bundle monster contest. If anyone knows the artist let me know so I can give credit!

my sad, hurried attempt at city and colour nails!

i’m going to see dallas green tomorrow night so i wanted to pay him tribute by putting a little album artwork on my nails! the design was inspired by his album cover for ‘little hell’. 

the base color is opi skull and glossbones and various random brands and colors for the accent nail, topped with a layer of out the door topcoat! 

finally did my nails! i used opi skull & glossbones as a base and topped it with rainbow connection from the muppet collection! the top picture is with no top coat and the bottom is with a matte top coat.
